Folky MacFolk Face are brilliant! They are a great band to watch live and lovely people to work with. I love them to bits!
Liz Clark, Celtic Music Radio & The Danny Kyle Stage at Celtic Connections.
Folky MacFolk Face were outstanding. They had two encores and deserved more. Professional, totally synchronised, beautiful harmonies and best of all, so much fun! The ideal band for our festival.
Sean Sinclair, Chair, South Queensferry Music Society.
Smashing evening from Folky Macfolk Face... lovely harmonies, well crafted self-penned songs with real historical stories attached to them. Just a special evening from a lovely group of people!
Ian MacRae, The Convenor of Corstorphine Folk, The Dower House, Edinburgh.
Brilliant live band. This is what Sunday afternoons are all about!
Billy Thomson, Landlord & Manager, The Market Inn, Ayr.
All those beautiful instruments played so expertly and four great voices too. What impressed me as the evening wore on was that almost every one of their self-penned songs was a wee history lesson in itself - Dougie Torrance is clearly well-read, knowledgeable, does his research and can then write good tunes and arrangements to fit his words. Another great night at the Dower House; thank you!
Kenneth Ferguson, Corstorphine Folk at The Dower House, Edinburgh.
